SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
Welcome to Beauty in Science. By accessing our website, scheduling services, purchasing products, memberships, or digital gift cards, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Beauty in Science (“we,” “our,” “the practice”) provides aesthetic, functional medicine, and wellness services. These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases, appointments, use of our website, and participation in programs or memberships.
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
2.1 Booking Requirements
A valid credit card is required to reserve appointments.
2.2 Cancellation Policy
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations or no-shows will be subject to the fees outlined in our office cancellation policy.
2.3 Running Late
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled to protect the experience of all clients.
3. PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
3.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash and approved financing or payment platforms.
3.2 Refunds
All services are non-refundable.
All skincare, supplements, and retail products are final sale due to safety and storage regulations.
Membership fees are non-refundable, included benefits may be used until the date of membership cancellation.
Returns + Exchanges
Due to the nature of products and services rendered, all sales are final.

4. MEMBERSHIPS
Membership benefits, pricing, credits, and discounts are subject to the specific membership agreement/contract provided upon enrollment.
4.1 Banking Memberships
100% of monthly or yearly fee is banked as service credit.
Credits do not expire during an active membership.
Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4.2 Diamond Glow Membership
Provides one Classic Diamond Glow treatment monthly.
Unused monthly treatments do not roll over unless otherwise stated.
Memberships cannot be shared, transferred, or used by anyone other than the client on record.
5. GIFT CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
5.1 General Gift Card Rules
By purchasing or redeeming a Beauty in Science gift card, you agree to the following:
Gift cards may be used for any in-office service or in-stock product unless otherwise specified.
Gift cards are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
Gift cards may be used as partial payment if the service exceeds the card’s remaining balance.
Gift cards cannot be altered once issued.
5.2 Fees
No inactivity, dormancy, or maintenance fees will ever be charged.
5.3 Lost or Stolen Cards
Lost or stolen gift cards may be reissued at our discretion with proof of purchase. Beauty in Science is not responsible for unauthorized use of a gift card.
5.4 Use Restrictions
Unless otherwise stated:
Gift cards cannot be used to purchase memberships.
Gift cards cannot be used to pay for gratuities.
Gift cards cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards.
6. HEALTH & SAFETY
6.1 Medical Contraindications
All clients must disclose all accurate health, medication, and allergy information before treatment. Failure to disclose may affect your treatment results and eligibility for services.
6.2 Provider Rights
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule treatments if they are deemed unsafe or inappropriate based on clinical judgment.
7. WEBSITE & DIGITAL TERMS
7.1 Intellectual Property
All content, branding, text, images, and materials on our website are the property of Beauty in Science and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
7.2 Online Store
Pricing, promotions, and availability are subject to change without notice.
7.3 Errors & Omissions
We strive for accuracy, but errors in pricing or content may occur. We reserve the right to correct these errors at any time.
8. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS
Beauty in Science and its providers make no guarantees regarding specific treatment outcomes.
All services carry inherent risks, which will be explained during consultation.
By receiving services, clients acknowledge these risks and consent to treatment.
9. PRIVACY POLICY
Beauty in Science is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding personal health information in compliance with HIPAA standards. Personal information is never sold or shared, except as required for medical care or legal compliance. This privacy policy describes the treatment of information provided or collected on the sites and applications where this privacy policy is posted, whether on our digital properties or on applications we make available on third-party sites or platforms. We follow this privacy policy in accordance with applicable law in the places where we operate. In some cases, we may provide additional data privacy notices specific to certain products, practices, or regions. Those terms are to be read in conjunction with this policy.
Please keep in mind that when you provide information to us on a third-party site or platform (for example, via our applications), the information you provide may be separately collected by the third-party site or platform. Beauty in Science Medspa that is the data controller for your information is responsible for and may use your information for the purposes described in this policy.

Communicate with you about your account or transactions with us and send you information or request feedback about features on our sites and applications or changes to our policies;
Send you offers and promotions for our products and services or third-party products and services;

We take great pride in the relationship of trust we have built with our customers and we are dedicated to treating your personal information with care and respect. Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83(c)(2), Beauty in Science Medspa does not share customer’s personal information with others outside unless a customer elects that we do so. If you are a California resident under the age of 18, and a registered user of any site where this policy is posted, California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content or information you have publicly posted.
