Laura is the Owner and Lead Injector of Beauty in Science
Medspa located in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She is dually licensed as a Registered Nurse and Cosmetologist after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan. With an extensive esthetics education and experience she also serves as Faculty for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
She is a mom of three,
wife and master of sarcasm. With a combined
20 years experience, she creates customized treatments
that focus on your individual aesthetic goals in a comfortable environment.
She strives to be approachable and helpful to all people who want a
custom treatment plan that is best for them.

Meet Nikki! Beauty + Science's Medical Esthetician. Her welcoming demeanor, aesthetic education, and incredible massage skills help clients feel comfortable and relaxed while obtaining their skin goals. Nikki grew up in the Detroit Area and moved to the Pacific Northwest for a few years with her husband, Dane.
She loves to incorporate relaxing elements into clinical treatments so you have "treats" during your "treatment". Microneedling and VI Peels are some of her favorite services to perform because of the benefits and results, and her clinical facials are like no other (the scalp massage is life changing).

Fun fact, Stefanee and Laura attended nursing school together. Lover of all things science and continuing education. Stef is the latest and greatest addition to Beauty + Science. A Registered Nurse since 2011, she obtained her MSN and Nurse Practitioner certification at Ohio University. She has advanced training on our Sylfirm X RF Microneedling, as well as aesthetic injectables, and dermal repair. With extensive experience in skin rejuvenation, she looks forward to working with you to formulate a plan to help achieve your individualized skin goals.
